The African Violet-Gesneriad Society of N.S.W. About Us | Our Latest News | Help At Hand | Contact Us 'About Us'  The Society was formed in 1980 to promote interest in African Violets and other Gesneriads and to assist members to learn more about the culture of these plants. The Society’s magazine 'African Violet News' is published bi-monthly, and contains Society news, articles on African Violet & Gesneriad culture and notices of Society activities. THE ANNUAL SHOW IS HELD NOVEMBER EACH YEAR with a venue and date to be finalised. The Society welcomes letters and phone calls from members who are unable to attend meetings. Yearly subscriptions run from January to December, but new members joining after September will be financial for the next calendar year.
